Home made no churn Raspberry Frozen Yoghurt Recipe

It's getting hot in here. So cool down with our homemade Raspberry Frozen Yoghurt recipe.

In summer, I prefer something refreshing and cooling for my taste buds. My raspberry frozen yoghurt is bound to please young and old alike. It's no churn, it's easy and the best part- it’s packed with goodness too!

Raspberry Frozen Yoghurt

Ingredients:

2 cups raspberries
2 cups Greek Yoghurt Low fat or regular
1/3 cup honey
½ cup caster sugar or Jam sugar
1 tbsp lemon juice

Directions:

1. Wash and place the raspberries in a food processor and blend. Pass the blended raspberries through a fine sieve to remove the seeds.

2. Return the raspberry puree to a clean food processor. Add the sugar, lemon juice, honey and yoghurt. The sugar and yoghurt will dissolve instantly. Blend immediately until thoroughly mixed.

3. Pour the mixture into a baking tin or freezer safe dish. Cover and place in the freezer. Once the raspberry purée begins to freeze, mix at regular intervals to break up the ice crystals.

4. When it resembles the texture of ice cream, it’s ready.

Not convinced? Just try it, no need for an ice cream machine I did it by hand.

Mardi Gras Sourdough Beignets and Milk Punch

I am a big fan of pancakes and if you are a regular of my blog you will know I have done all sorts of pancake recipes to celebrate this day but this year I turned to New Orleans for my inspiration and found some new treats to try, Beignets and better yet sourdough ones, and to wash them down a glass of Milk Punch. Weirdly, both very southern USA but they also feel appropriate for our very snowy weather here in Nova Scotia at the moment.

Decorating great rooms with dramatic blinds

February 16, 2019

Are you about to embark on a new design project or simply in the market to replace your tired old draperies, then remember this curtains and blinds can offer just as much to the design of a room as the furniture. Window dressings can add a pop of bright colour to a room it's like adding another layer of texture. Nothing gives a unique aura to a room like a vibrant fabric with bold colour, they can help tie a room together if the patterns feature colours also seen in complimentary accessories like decorative pillows, vases, art or a gorgeous textured throw.
